In May 2008 a week-long programme under the title 'Holy hiatus' took place based at Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan. One of the events was 'Drift': to quote Simon Whitehead:
"For Holy Hiatus, Whitehead will collaborate with dancers Andrea Buckley and Kate Willis to create a new work called ‘Drift’, a series of dance excursions through the town of Aberteifi / Cardigan over three days. Beginning at the Old Town Bridge over the Teifi and timed to the tides, the dancers will move through town, meandering past pedestrians and traders. Engaging with the architecture and environment, the dancers act as a conduit for the tidal movement of the river through the town."
I photographed the dance through the town on the first day.
